Dr. Lori Desautels holds a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, a Master's degree in Counseling Education, and a Ph.D. in adolescent cognitive development. She currently serves as a faculty member in the College of Education at Butler University in Indianapolis, USA, where she launched the Applied Educational Neuroscience/Brain and Trauma graduate certfication program, aimed at teachers, mentors, counselors, and leaders who work with children and adolescents who have experienced and are experiencing adversity and trauma. In addition to her academic work, she co-teaches the 7th grade at Belzer Middle School. She has served as an advisor and trainer to hundreds of school districts across the United States. Dr. Desautels is also the author of several books, including "How May I Serve You, Revelations in Education," "Unwritten, The Story of a Living System," "Eyes Are Never Quiet," "Rewiring Our Perception of Discipline," and "Intentional Neuroplasticity, Our Educational Journey Towards Post Traumatic Growth."

Participants who have attended the webinar or have watched the recording, will receive a certificate of attendance. Those who wish to earn APA-recognized CE credits, will also have to successfully complete a post-test.
